The Students Union have announced this week that they will be shutting the PAV on Castle Irwell. The PAV has served students at Salford for over 30 years and considered the Heart of Irwell. The Prediction is the Venue will make a loss on profit for next year and that closure is in best interest, however there are always alternatives. Since starting a Paper Petition about 24 hours ago 750 students have signed in agreement to save the PAV. By Signing this Petition you will be agreeing to: A Possible Referendum by the Union on the PAV's Future. A Review and Final Decision on the PAV's Future to be made at the End of next years semester 1 when the prediction of a loss can either proved wrong or on course to be correct. Way's of looking how to boost PAV attendence on days other than Tuesday for example Branding other nights and providing a mixture of music and offers. Finally a Call for the PAV to receive a Face Lift and possible fund raising ideas to sustain this proposal. Thank you
