As a 10 year resident, I am opposed to many aspects of this project. #1, removing bus stops. #2 making parking worse than it already is.

Please consider the needs and safety of Adams Morgan residents and not only commuters who pass through. Street parking is becoming more and more limited, and the neighborhood is becoming challenging to live in.

This proposal will make using those roads less safe and less efficient for most citizens

This will further reduce parking spots in an area already short of parking spots, while doing nothing to improve safety for cyclists.

Why aren’t you thinking of an old people crossing the street, catching bus, taking taxi, Uber o any transportation?
Please stop this pro Jett and let it the Columbia Rd be a two way street, the way it is now. Instead you can take care of other thing the city need. Fix things at the Kalorama park, take care of the Asphalt and roads and so on.
Thank you very much

If the organizer of this petition genuinely cared about pedestrians and the beauty of the neighborhood, they wouldn’t be littering on private property by placing cards on parked cars. Not only is that in violation of littering law but this petition is a farce. These improvements would streamline the bus line to rebalance the stops and make the bus more efficient while making streets safer for cyclists, who are much less of a hazard to pedestrians than cars. I hope the organizer of this petition and their accomplices have the cojones to stand in public so I can report them for littering.

I do not support this action to be taken place. Parking is already almost impossible and this will make it more difficult!

Bike lanes are negatively impacting drivers and pedestrians on critical roadways. They make sense for side streets that lead bikers to access to the community. Please consider all residents of DC.

Please pause this project to consider input from this community, particularly senior and disabled citizens, who face dangers and accessibility issues if the proposed plan is put in place.

I often take the L2 or 42/43 bus from Columbia Rd. to get downtown via Connecticut Ave. Neither bus seems to arrive very frequently, and additional congestion on Columbia Rd. Would exacerbate that. Also, having to cross a protected bike lane to get to a bus stop makes being a pedestrian in this city even more dangerous than it already is. Pedestrians seem to be the least important citizens—even though we don’t pollute or injure or kill people!

This plan is absurd and needs to go no further. All this for BIKES??? They are a nuisance as it is. This will slow traffic to a crawl and endanger lives...tempers will flare and people's
lives made yet more insecure. STOP THIS PLAN NOW!
