Paul is not guilty.
Paul is a victim of the injustice system, racial profiling, and corrupt police practices.
Paul has been serving time as a scapegoat for the wealthy and despicable man who was responsible for Jennifer’s death; the man whose wealth afforded him to buy his innocence by paying money to secure Paul’s conviction.
Paul is also yet another victim of overzealous DA Jeff Rosen.
Rosen has shown a similar pattern of bias in other cases around the same timeframe; including in my case.
It’s long overdue that Paul have his freedom restored and his name cleared.

Welcome to America, where a man is guilty until proven innocent.
Seriously who was on this jury? A bunch of man hating people just itching to convict a man?

Clearly important evidence was withheld by the prosecution, this is mind blowing how a conviction of Murder was handed down over no evidence showing he did this. I'm just surprised that the Victim's family doesn't seem to want the truth or the right person caught for the murder of Jennifer

This particular case struck a chord with me from the get-go. After watching the mystery of it all unravel on an old re-run episode of Dateline, I just had to learn more. Far too many questions had gone unanswered. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that there was a website dedicated to exposing the evidence in this case. After carefully reading through all of the emails and text messages, it is clear to me that poor Bulos (Paul) Zumot could not have killed Jennifer Schipsi. What happened to Jennifer is horribly sad but the pieces of the puzzle are not fitting together when it comes to holding Paul responsible. Unless there was some sort of hard evidence that the prosecutors had which is being withheld from public knowledge, this case was solely based on a 'what if' conclusion. I will pray for a miracle and ask for further proof of his innocence to one day surface. Until then, I hope that Paul's strength perseveres and his family continues on fighting for his innocence.

I saw this case on investigation discovery. Before reading the information on this site, I wondered how anyone, let alone everyone on a jury, could have considered what the prosecution presented as proof "beyond a reasonable doubt". Did they forget that these words are key? The prosecution did a great job of making this man a suspect, but beyond any reasonable doubt? Whether or not he's guilty, I can't say. But I CAN say that there is plenty of room for doubt.

Reminds me of an ex girlfriend who did the same things such as with the phone (spoof apps, tracking, messaging even my family), cheated, lying about the past for sympathy, etc. Ended when she accused my friend of raping her (found not guilty, but ruined our lives) on my birthday. She invited him and 2 other friends over using a spoof app as a surprise given I was bedridden after a serious injury.

I have seen his story on dateline twice. I truly believe he coulsnt have done this crime and the police very clearly got tunnel vision, they did a terrible job doing their job. I hope Paul can get some help!

I will say that just because a relationship is rocky, including domestic violence charges does not add up to murder. The physical evidence does not prove guilt. My ex-husband and I had the break-up - make-up relationship. We threatened each other, had physical altercations, domestic violence convictions, etc. During all of those instances, we absolutely loved each other. We would have never actually gone through with our threats, and even after our divorce have regrets. The actions, and expressions displayed by the accused would have mirrored my own reactions had I lost him even during our worst of times. Not all relationships are perfect. Some may seem downright toxic. The facts need to be examined. The physical evidence.

There is a lack of evidence on the prosecutors end and so there is doubt that Paul zumot commited murder. There does not appear to be enough hatred towards his wife to commit a crime of this magnitude. You can read his writings and it appears he is always reconciling to correct past mistakes, but he never writes about hating her indefinitely. These are just things i noticed, there's more definite evidence that I have not written here.
