Every Canadian who was alive in 1972 knows about Paul Henderson and his big goal. Many people say it is the greatest moment in Canadian sports, the coming of age for Canada, and the moment when our national sport went truly international. They say four out of five Canadians watched it, even though it was during work hours. What most people don't seem to recall is that Canada had to win it's last three games in Russia to pull off the win, and that Henderson got the winning goal in all three of those games. While the 1972 was certainly the highlight of his career, Henderson also had a xx xx with the Toronto Maple Leafs, scoring xx goals and xx assists.
