As a Vet, I'm ashamed of her. As a Vet she has the right to be an asshat though. However, the right thing to do is remove her from a public office.

There's nothing wrong with military flags, and to insult our veterans who give their lives on a daily basis is just wrong. It is sickening to know that this is the type of person working for city government or any position that has the ability to influence anyone. She is a discrace as an American!

Ms. Powers need to be removed from her position immediately. Her disrespect for our service members, especially one that was wounded for this country, is absolutely unacceptable. Her actions beg the question of, how many other veterans and veteran owned businesses has she done this to where her actions went undetected.
