I Served with Lcpl Gallagher in the summer of 66 until I was severely wounded in late August. He was a dedicated, hard charger of a Marine and we should be proud to have a ship named for him.

A radio documentary on Patrick Gallagher is to be aired December 17th.
It is currently in production and will be one hour in length.

What better way to honor one who entered this Country the correct way, fight, & dead for it it the process saving many lives. Shame on you Sir, as the Secretary of the Navy if you fail to grant this man & his family this great & deserved honor.

Replaced Patrick Gallagher in Hotel company upon his death. Constantly heard first hand accounts of his valor. Naming a ship after him would be keeping with Naval tradition.
