It us with great pleasure that I sign this partition in honor of Corporal Patrick Bob Gallagher. Whom with disregard for his own life saved three fellow United States Marines while serving in the Republic of Vietnam Cam Lo region 1966.
The Secretary of the Navy, of United States of America keep the tradition of naming the Destroyer direct the DDG class ship be named I. Honor of Corporal Patrick "Bob" Gallagher USMC recipient of our nations second highest honor, The Navy Cross for valor under enemy fire republic of Vietnam.
