I respectfully request that the Secretary of the Navy direct that a DDG class ship be named in honor of Corporal Patrick "Bob" Gallagher, USMC, Navy Cross, of Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, Ireland ( KIA-Da Nang 1967)

My Dad grew up in the same area of Mayo as did Cpl. Gallagher & may have attended the same school. SO I know that he would want him to be so honored.
