I concur. I request that the Secretary of the Navy name DDG117, or a subsequent DDG class ship scheduled to be procured in 2017, to be named after Corporal Patrick "Bob" Gallagher, USMC, Navy Cross, of Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, Ireland (KIA ~ Da Nang 1967)

This Marine is clearly deserves to have a ship named in his honor. Additionally, his actions are absolutely worthy of the Congressional Medal of Honor.
