My dad Joe Burke of Granlahan was in the Christian Brothers school with Patrick and heard Teresa on the radio yesterday - but only the end of her segment. I managed to locate the podcast to listen in full and Dad was overcome with emotion remembering Patrick at school and indeed the circumstances of his death. Our thoughts and best to his family and to the petition remembering their brave brother. Joe-Ann

My dad is Joe Burke of Granlahan. He just heard the end of Teresa speaking on Liveline and was relaying the bit that he had heard to me today - thankfully We managed to find and listen back to the full podcast. Dad went to school in the Christian Brothers with Patrick and was overcome with emotion hearing Teresa tell his story, remembering him at school and indeed the circumstances of his death. Our thoughts to his family this Christmas for their brave brother, and support with the petition.
