As a native Dubliner and a former U.S Marine with combat service in the first Gulf War , l am proud to sign the petition. It is a very small gesture in light of Patrick Gallagher 's service and sacrifice. Patrick s actions speak volumes of his own character and courage , again showing the great tradition of Irish warriors in foreign conflicts. I have to ask why he was not awarded the MOH for such selfless heroism.

My 1st Cousin Dennis Thomas Cunnane a U.S. citizen was killed in Vietnam on January 29th 1968, he was a Corporal in the United States Marine.
