As a US Army combat veteran of Iraq, I believe that naming a US Navy ship for CPL Gallagher is deserved and is in keeping the tradition of the US Navy.

Learned about Corporal Gallagher at Lynbrook's Doughboy Monument Ceremony on Memorial Day 2017. I shot the family's interview for Lynbrook TV. Was honored to do so. A true hero!
