The Town Council believes that a footpath is urgently required along Bryn Road, particularly as more young pedestrians use Bryn Road to access Argoed High School from their homes in Buckley. Although the speed limit of Bryn Road has been reduced, instances of speeding traffic are still common place and the potential for a serious accident increase as the number of pedestrians increases. The Town Council is writing to Flintshire County Council to again highlight the problem and would advise that it has for some considerable time considered this matter and communicated to the County Council upon it.

we use this road as a family on a regular basis it is very busy and we need a footpath . The council put street lights but really need a path it's dangerous without one .

About time! We must build a cycle/footpath alongside Bryn Road before an innocent child gets killed or injured.

It would also be more environmentally friendly to reduce children needing to be driven to school. Children being able to safely walk to and from school is so much better for their health.

The most dangerous section of the road is the blind bend half way down.

I regularly use Bryn Road whilst walking and find it dangerous walking from the Alltami end (blind bend to oncoming traffic). Dread to think what it is like for school pupils having to walk that route on a daily basis. Accident waiting to happen.
