We request a path to be built on the side of the road from the start of Bryn Road (connection at Alltami Road) to the Argoed High School. This road is very dangerous to walk along and many people walk this way to school and to get to Mynydd Isa or Buckley. There are blind corners and cars come round these at a high speed, which increases the risk of knocking over a person. As a pupil of the Argoed High School, I believe this petition is of great importance, please sign to help prevent major accidents being caused, signing this could save a life and prevent injuries. Even if it does not affect you, it affects other, probably many you know.

The dangerous conditions on Bryn Road are being discussed in town meetings now. Your support is forcing them to pay attention to the blind corners.

The increase in traffic over the last five years has been considerable, resulting in dangers to the pedestrians who use it. If the new Medical Centre replaces the Roseneath Practice, there will be even greater traffic, cars and pedestrians, using this road

This road is an accident waitingto happen, its a narrow lane with blind corners and is well used by children walking to school. I would be unhappy if my daughter had to walk along this road when she moves up to the Argoed school in a few years time

The road is extremely dangerous and I definitely agree with having a path built. I've seen a lot of students from Year 7 & 8 walking down and there's been a few extremely close to being hit.

It would also be more environmentally friendly to reduce children needing to be driven to school. Children being able to safely walk to and from school is so much better for their health.

I regularly use Bryn Road whilst walking and find it dangerous walking from the Alltami end (blind bend to oncoming traffic). Dread to think what it is like for school pupils having to walk that route on a daily basis. Accident waiting to happen.

I drive down Bryn Road every day and i see lots of young kids walking to school half on the road and half on the grass. A path has been needed for years. Please do it before a child is seriously hurt or killed !!
