Paramount has recently decided to drop Blu ray Disc production and exclusively produce content for HDDVD. Paramount has committed to this action by a payment of approximately $150 million according to media reports. We, the undersigned, pledge not to purchase any Paramount products for at least 36 months as a symbolic message to Paramount, that we the consumers can affect the profitability of Paramount more than the sum of $150 million. We pledge to boycott all theatre releases and all video products of Paramount, Dreamworks, Viacom, and its affiliates unless Paramount and the aforementioned resume the production of Blu Ray discs. We are committed to passing on the message through the Internet, word of mouth, and other methods to encourage consumers of all ages, nationalities, and locations to not purchase Paramount, Viacom, and Dreamworks products, view movies, or purchase videos.
