It doesn't matter if your city wants to be safe. If I can't carry my firearm where I want to, my rights are violated. The 2nd is the only right that matters.

Pass LB289! Omaha and Lincoln don't know what's best for their own cities. Rural folks do! And I think it should be easier for people with criminal records to carry guns wherever they want without training or experience. And if someone's abusive husband wants to carry a gun into a domestic violence shelter in Lincoln and start killing people, who are we to stop them? I want to live in a state where towns can be bankrupted by the NRA for trying to address their own problems with gun violence. The NRA needs that money a lot more than our fellow Nebraskans do! Pass LB289! The convenience of gun owners is worth its cost in innocent lives!

Are the thugs or north Omaha registering their handguns with OPD like the rest of us currently have to? These restrictions do nothing to combat the gun violence we're seeing.
