There is a concern within the Plumbing Engineering and Design Community over the lack of progress in the passage of a new Illinois Plumbing Code. The current 2004 Illinois Plumbing Code is inadequate in addressing the many new technologies developed in the plumbing industry over the past six years. We, the undersigned, feel the proposed code addresses many of today's plumbing issues in a positive manner and ask that consideration be given to the prompt passage of the Illinois Plumbing Code.
