I believe everyone should be able to wear their hair as they choose in the workplace as long as it is reasonably neat and clean.

People of African decent have assimilated far too long trying to look presentable through the lenses of others. We have subjected and exposed ourselves to cancer causing agents, poor hair maintenance and premature hair loss as a result. I’m riddled with sadness that we must ask for equal rights because of our natural hair.

It’s 2023 there is no reason why anyone should discriminate against someone who chooses to where their natural hair.

This is so important. So many are affected by discrimination for no reason.

I believe this petition is warranted as many black women have been discriminated against for their hair style choices. African American cultural styles should be a norm in whatever profession just like other ethnic groups clothing, jewelry, etc.
