As I sit, writing my note to you, I am conscious of the sacredness of my and every veteran's life. I do happen to have PTSD and, because of it, I do the best I can do with my life. I am aware that we all are not merely "a certain time" of our lives - rather, every moment when we weren't "under attack" from evil. We all deserve to live all the rest of our days seeking our peace, love and happiness. Remember!! We've paid our dues - now let our country's government and people cover, protect and drench all the veteran's in that love. I don't want one more irreplaceable veteran to have to end his/her precious life. Joyce

I am a veteran who as a physician has cared for other veterans all my career. It is essential to pass HR 3495 into law

I am a veteran, and I have used both the VA and for-profit healthcare options. I prefer the VA system by far, for quality of care.

This is deadly important for we disabled veterans. NO to privatization of our VA Healthcare system. It is the best care I have ever had. I am 86. Love the VA.

Suicide is a serious issue for America's veterans & military. It's a crisis for all American's. Veterans For Peace has be fighting to Save Our VA (SOVA) for years, from privatization, because the VA is the gold standard in suicide prevention. Takano's, amended, HR 3495 continues this effort. As a veteran I ask all House Representatives to support this version of the bill. Do not alter the bill, which would lead to weakening the VA, to please the Senate.

Takano is giving us a chance to stop privatization . This is what we've needed. So step up!

Privatization is less quality care for a high cost. Single payer works if those who would benefit from privatization will stop trying to take it away!

Who is going to win? The investor or the veteran when undemocratic and unelected corporations decide?
