The following petition is to enforce participation in Physical Education to reduce and prevent child obesity. W, the undersigned, do agree that if every child engaged in the activities provided for them in P.E. class, than child obesity rates may decrease. This petition also hopes to help create games that every child (athletic or not) can play disregarding race and sex. According to the Palm Beach School District every student is required to either participate in physical activities out of school and/or attend a Physical Education class at school. But, depending on the instructor, not every kid is REQUIRED to participate. Sadly, kids who don't participate are at risk of obesity.
