Everyone deserves a second chance. I was incarcerated at the age of 16 as well in 2002. I came home when i was 30, March 27th, 2017. I was around this brother often & he has definitely grown to become a man. It's sad him, myself & countless others grow as men in prison from kids. Yes, kids. Good people make poor decisions at any age. A 16 year old is he no longer. Release him so he can be with his wife and child. So that he can become productive in a life of some time. Being in there he will never know that he can rise above and prevail in life... Free Andrew Terry please!

I have personally been a victim of violence twice. I loss two of my boyfriends by murder at the hands of someone else. With that being said I do believe that @ 16 yrs old you're not fully aware of the consequences of your actions nor the impact that it will have on others as well as yourself. If we all can put ourselves in a 16yrs old childs mind who's being peer pressured to do things that are not right it's easy to be influenced by others. I think that's what happened to Andy. I know him personally and he was always a nice little boy. Coming up in that error we all fell short at some point because it was so easy to become a product of your environment!! I think as a child going in the punishment was a bit harsh, I do believe that he's sorry and he's been punished long enough. Grant it this will not bring back the loss of the life that was taken. God forgives everyone of us and I'm sure he's forgiven Andy a long time ago. I'm sorry for the families that loss their love one like I said I know that feeling personally. I believe that we should allow him to salvage some of his life due to the fact that he was only a child that was misguided @ some point. GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE!! It's time to let him go it really is. I'm sure he won't disappoint society. Thanks Angel Henderson..

I feel very strongly about this and do understand the hesitation based on the nature of the crime. However, I am a firm believer in 2nd chances and not just with crimes but in life generally. How is one to show they have learned from their mistake i not afforded the opportunity? Not to mention he can serve as a role model and make a difference in his Community. His Community needs him more than any board can imagine....more than any institution.
