As said in our title we NEED CHANGE !
Us as former students at Parlier High School, we pushed into having to go to online zoom classes for 4 DAYS now instead of 2 day online zoom and 3 day on acellus ( A International Education App) On October 27th 2020 distract has announced we are having school for days and saying this with no heads up. Also wanted to add our COMMUNITY TEACHERS NOR PARENTS knew about this meeting and due to late/tardiness about schedule change(s) student are failing dramatically. Some are also having to try to convince their boss(s) for schedule changes (Can take up to 2 weeks for a change)Since we are forced to attend school for 4 days now ONLINE with late notice and 1 day on acellus. Upon most of our students work to provide for their families or save up for college. I (Us) also wanted to include the majority of student(s) who also take care of siblings/have siblings at home which make it more difficult. (Especially in a Mexican household it more difficult as it seems) Because of this stress of changes the tardy notice our grade(s) are dropping dramatically. It's not our fault teachers are high-ing class work and a big huge amount of students have things going on at home as well which most of us may not or may know. Especially with covid-19 it's harder for students to learn and educate themselve(s) because of sibilings,technology and etc. In conclusion now having to be on technology more it affects us as well.(Since adults say its bad being on a screen to mush)As this grows on more students are getting affected by this schedule change and it's not our faults again as said cause the government has forced us to be in school and ½ of what we learn isn´t real life situations like paying taxes,working real jobs,or driving are real examples of real life situatuons / things we should know. At the end the day its not our faults wanting to live our life,trying to help family, wanting a break,and working to make cash on the side cause that's what life ½-ly is about.

The past few days have been draining as I listen to more stories about how these schedule shifts are sabotaging your jobs and your home lives. I am working to get these details in front of the right people even when it feels like they are ignoring us completely.

i want this schedule changed bc i babysit n it’s hard for me to focus on school
I think it's not fair to change a child's schedule all of a sudden. It dont only effect the child it effects the home as well.
This is some bs, even if they were going to change the schedule, the least that could've happened was given a few weeks notice prior to the schedule change. It still would've been BS but at least we could have planned with our students working schedules for those that do work jobs or have other activities going on.
THIS IS STUPID. they just expect us to figure it out overnight while we got siblings running around and bad wifi. change it back already
my boss is legit gonna fire me if i cant get my shifts fixed and i need this money for school so this schedule change is seriously screwing me over
