We, the undersigned residents of Parkside Berrimah are writing to formally request assistance in the installing a security gate at the entrance of the estate. This request arises from growing concerns regarding the safety and wellbeing of our community.

Over recent months, our estate has experienced an alarming increase in:

• Antisocial behaviour, including vandalism, loitering, and public disturbances;
• Criminal activity, such as theft, break-ins, and property damage;
• Unwanted visitors entering the estate without any legitimate reason, often late at night or during early hours, contributing to a sense of insecurity among residents.

These ongoing issues are severely impacting the quality of life within our community, particularly for families with young children, the elderly, and vulnerable individuals. The lack of a security gate has made the estate easily accessible to non-residents, increasing the risks and reducing residents’ sense of safety.
