This is unnecessary urban sprawl....add density in the core of the city - don't try to make a park the next Germantown Parkway. We see how the sprawl worked out for the cookie-cutter residential neighborhoods directly behind this site, right?

I own a home off of Patmore next to this proposed development. This land was zoned residential and I am opposed to changing the zoning. Not only does this plan a 9 story building on Mullins Station, but cuts right through our neighborhood with 3 story buildings - all apartments. We are not opposed to development of residential but do not want apartments or any other zoning other than residential.

Traffic is already horrendous right now. What's going to happen when they add all those people. Who is going to fix the roads necessary to support the extra traffic?

Traffic on Whitten / Mullins Station is HORRIBLE now - traffic on Whitten backs up for 1/2 mile every single day morning and evening, and Farm Road going the same direction is even worse! Adding more cars without adding lights and/or widening the road will make it completely unbearable for those of us who already live there. Not to mention construction traffic.

I vote no to re-zoning. Find another commercial strip on the green line. There's plenty of other location options for this project. Please not right here at Mullins and Whitten. Keep it residential, please!

I live on Whitten Pine Dr & this area is not the place for a high rise building. The traffic is already a nightmare on Whitten Rd (ever since they closed Raleigh LaGrange at the end of east end of Mullins Station). Please don't allow this to happen. Thank you.

This city has more than enough vacant apartment/business locations that need to be utilized before we go destroying what little green space we have left.

Please do not build this develment. It will only make our property values go down and most importantly take away some of the natural area surrounding the park . Can only imagine the wildlife that would be disturbed. There are so many empty already cleared commercial zones. PLEASE don't ruin our neighborhood !!!!

NO to rezoning, No more apartments or businesses. I cannot imagine the neighborhood being divided. We need Bent Tree/Patmore Road to stay open for traffic flow. No to any high rise buildings!, DONT WANT PEOPLE LOOKING INTO MY BACK YARD

Crime has already been on the rise in the area with so many of the starter houses being rented out instead of sold. With the extended Green Line being developed, access and escape routes make criminal activity only the more alluring. Also, traffic already requires signals, yet there do not appear to be any in the works and the traffic will increase even more with the proposal. Signals or no, the roads aren't designed for such heavy flow.

We ALREADY have Greenbrook Apartments, and that does nothing but bring our property values DOWN!! We have plenty of homes for sale that are available to the community, and many houses are empty/foreclosures. There are PLENTY of empty houses and an existing apartment complex. NO NO NO more!
