Let's keep the park a public place! A place for the community!

The streets/roads in this area are already in desperate need of repair and widening. Adding more traffic (including construction vehicles) will make a bad situation even worse. The high volume of traffic that already exists makes it challenging to get in and out of our neighborhoods on a daily basis. In addition, the proposed development area is surrounded by single family homes who can't be excited at the thought of multiple 9-story buildings in their back yards.

Absolutely detest the idea! We live in the immediate neighborhood and it's deplorable the way SFP has made lives miserable with all the construction strangling traffic on already-too-narrow roads. SFP is the epitome of a bad neighbor. This high-rise would only exacerbate the situation making for very crowded streets and impassable stretches through the area. Funny how this whole project hearing was carefully planned to fly under the radar.

We don't need this in our quite little area. We need to save the farms not destroy it.

We have plenty apartments already and way too much traffic. Cars fly down Patmore regardless of speed bumps.

It is so RARE to have such a large completely undeveloped green space in the center of a city...commercializing the edges of the park will utterly change all of the park within view of those developments. Research shows that nature makes people kinder, happier & more creative. Not bars, quick-copy shops, and retail outlets. Not traffic & asphalt. Not high rises. Not traffic jams. Not way too many people. This is folly for us and for the future of Memphis and Shelby Farms Park. NO TO REZONING. (note I signed before but this is my comment)

Please don't allow our neighborhood to be rezoned. We don't want our quality of life to change just so people can come pay high dollar to "look" at the farm. There are plenty of apartments and homes for rent in this area already, why not rent one of those instead of marring the landscape with multiple multi-story buildings that will over-crowd and over-populate an already congested area.

This plan is ridiculous. The traffic backup is horrible in this area. Please do not approve this project.

There are plenty of other places to develop, but there is only one Shelby Farms. The traffic patterns will not support this development and it will only increase pollution and crime and decrease the beauty of one of Memphis' great green spaces!

Memphis already has so many horrible places that people no longer feel safe in. Why would you want to limit something not only brings people together but in turn betters the community? It is ridiculous that anyone would want to take away from this amazing park. Shame on whoever is actually taking this seriously. Keep our park!!!
