Parkside East would experience at completion of development increased traffic that the current infrastructure, roadway width was not designed for. Currently Parkside East only has residence using roadway but with proposed Thru Fare not only residence using roadway but non residence traffic would increase.

Couldn’t be a worse spot for a high rise. Or any buildings. Why would someone even want to ruin this area. Just shows how greedy they are

No! I use the greenline daily and don't want to have to worry about my safety as I run alone most days! Not to mention all of the animals I see will lose their homes!

I've been studying that area for a long time, and the traffic, is already terrible during rush hour...this will have a dramatic effect on Walnut Grove, Germantown Rd, Interstate 40 and Interstate 240...My suggestion is not to build around the surrounding area, or you will see a huge shift of population growth outside the city...We already have a major crime problem, that has everyone on the edge...

Another land grab by developers and the city council. What a traffic nightmare that area will be.

Really sorry I didn't see this petition sooner. And I'm really sorry to hear about how things went with City Council yesterday. City government, please stop rolling over any time a developer comes around asking for variances or rezoning so they can build whatever they want. What's the point of planning or zoning laws if everything is just swept aside any time a developer with $$ and an idea comes knocking? Any other city - with a comprehensive plan - would have laughed at this proposal.
