Agreed! This is a helpful comment as the City likes to see Vancouver addresses. I think it's important for them to know that people visiting will also use these spaces. After all, we are very much a tourist driven city.

We have an obesity epidemic spanning generations, we need more outdoor movement spaces!

Parkour parks are great ways for people to get started in a safer environment. Dont build out of round logs though, its super slippery!

I don't do parkour, but I am all for providing people with the space they need to pursue their passions!

Parkour is my life and passion. My brother lives in Vancouver so this would make my visits even more epic! This shoulda happened a long time ago, in all places around the world!!!

There are less and less public spaces that are suitable for fitness and play outside of traditional team sports, there is already a large parkour community in vancouver, and the success and usage of these parks is already visible in the example of surrey and Langleys dedicated spaces which see high use from all age groups. Parkour is also a cheap/free sport to practice and giving it a space to practice without property concerns let's underpriveledged youth have another outlet that costs next to nothing to try.

The parkour community has done more for me than I can ever explain. Help it grow, and change the lives of others like it changed mine.
