Parking in front of your own house should be a right not a paid for privilege.

Our homes were built in the 1950s, when families typically had only one car. Now families have multiple cars and children living at home with cars too. Our driveways are not long enough to accommodate the cars and so street parking is a necessary option to living in our homes in Radnor Twp. And we also like to have company and social gatherings that might last more than 2 hours. Thank you.

I understand the reasoning for the two hour limit but residents and their guests should not be fined. Permit placards should be free for residents and their guests.

I have lived in this lovely neighborhood for 28 years. I wholeheartedly support permit parking at no cost to the residents of our neighborhood for resident and guests of residents on Braxton Road. This is our home. How ludicrous to think that we can't park on the street where we live without fear of being ticketed.

I live on Braxton Road for several years and it is only recently that the police have started to enforce these regulations on residents. We have not complained of problems parking and the current arrangement was always acceptable whereby residents were never ticketed so the driver seems to be just for revenue generation. While I am in agreement with the parking restriction signs being maintained it should be for the purpose or preventing people not resident or visiting residents from abusing the parking in the streets. It is not fair or reasonable to penalize genuine residents just going about their daily operations. I support the issuance of permits at no cost for residents.

I personally think it should stay the way it has been for years no tickets for residents, Leave the signs up, Has not been any problem with none residents parking here in my Thirty Five years here. Permits lead to fees

I support the permit parking for residents. In addition, I am trying to get a related issue resolved with the Township. On Rodney Road, there are 2 hour parking signs on both sides of the street. Ordinance 2013-16 section 270.30 says 2 hour limit applies only to one side. An older ordinance (83-11), which the Township is showing me, has a the 2 hour limit on both sides. My thought is they should be enforcing the 2013 code instead of the 1983 code and the 2 hour limit sign should come down on one side of the road. If they are going to enforce the 2 hour parking limit, the Township should be enforcing the law the way it is currently written.

My family and I have lived on Braxton Road for more than 50 years. .It is truly unfortunate that now we are not able to park on our street during the day.. We support the efforts to add a permit parking system for the residents on our street..

I have lived on Braxton road my entire life and have never had a reason to not park on the street. My neighborhood parking restrictions went from parking on both sides to simply parking on the right side only. I believe that parking permits for local live in residence are unnecessary in the larger sense but if its preventative of having parking tickets issued then I am 100% behind and in support of the idea to have Braxton Rodney road parking permits at no additional cost to the resident. Please take into consideration the neighborhood we live in and also the fact that Villanova University students, I feel respect the residential parking spaces by not utilizing them illegally. We have never had an issue with parking tickets and/or permits on the street in the past but if it is becoming a reoccurring problem I feel that signing this petition will aid in relieving that problem.

Around the start of this last semester, I got a $20 ticket for parking in front of my own house. The police have a computer to check owners of cars & addresses. Paid dumb ticket. Not happy! I am in favor of the permit plan. Thank you.
