We call upon Pembrokeshire County Council to recognise the current economic difficulties faced by our retail centre in Pembroke Dock and to drop their plans to charge our shoppers to park in town. We believe that car parking charges would drive motorists to park in our side streets causing snarl ups and congestion in our residential areas. We believe that parking charges would be the death knell for those shops which rely on 'pop and shop' customers. Drop these crazy plans now.
