Parking should not be a utility bill.

The infrastructure of Interbay was not created with residential parking in mind.

Residential parking garages are expensive and do not accommodate all resident vehicles.

With minimal street parking and limited 2-hour parking, residents resort to having to move their vehicles several times a day or park many blocks away in Magnolia or Queen Anne.

In addition, the ongoing construction of the Seattle Storm building and regular games at the Ballard Football Club take up residential spots for hours at a time.

The experience of parking in Interbay, especially for those who cannot afford the parking garage fees or who are waitlisted for parking garage spots, is not reasonable.

Residents are unduly punished and ticketed for living in a mixed-use area.

Please support our efforts to rezone parking in Interbay by signing this petition.
