Parking Should Be Accessible

This needs to be addressed. There is a crosswalk and children need to learn to use it and not encumber the disabled.

Can anyone explain why this is blocked?

Ridiculous that they blocked those spots off. My sister uses a walker and cant get to the playground anymore because of the distance she has to walk. Fix this for the community.

Disabled parking should be accessible.

This needs to be changed, I haven't been here since the early spring when I discovered they barricaded those spots. Handicapped parking needs to be accessible for those who need it, I have friends who do need those spaces and this is a deterrent to people wanting to enjoy the playground. The last time I was there I was very pregnant with my son, and not even having a chance at one of the closer non-handicapped spots was frustrating. Walking the distance was hard and really soured me on wanting to go there again.

My daughter is in a wheelchair and we would love for this to be more accessible. Thank you

Why in the world is there no handicapped parking at a handicapped park?

I go to this park all the times and see elderly grandparents trying to make the walk up to the park with there grandkids. I have seen people with back problems. And other health problems just trying to get there kids out to the park and can’t even make it or just wore out trying to make up. This park really needs the parking spaces that is designed for the people who really need them.

This is vitally Important to the disabled of St Marys County!
