Are you getting fed up with driving around in circles looking for a parking space near your home?

This petition asks for your support, as a resident in the Elm Grove/Franklin Road Triangle, to lobby the council to introduce parking restrictions now.

Since the Council introduced astronomically high parking charges in the city centre, and parking restrictions between Upper Lewes Road and Lewes Road, the number of non-residential cars parkingin the area has significantly increased.

The Council is planning, and will certainly introduce parking restrictions into the Elm Grove/Hanover area. However, the consultation will most likely not happen until late summer of 2015, which means we could face another year of parking pain.

Based on the trend across Brighton and Hove, parking restrictions seem inevitable, so let’s rally together and make it happen sooner so residence can easily park again.
