Why should prices increase when there is a lack of parking spaces for pass holders to use?

Please no. $35 is a reasonable price.

This may be okay at schools where students aren't already paying $40,000 a year. This is absolutely imsane

I would like to know what the money would go towards. Also, this presentation of such a drastic change typically precedes the presentation of a lesser change with the overall goal of tricking one into "compromising" when the second option is what is truly pushed. As those directly affected by this change, we should receive some answers soon.

If we're going to have an increase, at least be transparent as to what these funds will go to support.

Trying to squeeze every last drop from us, eh? Poor and middle class students are already disadvantaged at this school. We need to make education more accessible. Price hikes do the exact opposite. Plus some students actually need cars to get to places of employment and such. Show some regard for the students. We're the sole reason you continue to exist

For the education students that have to have a car to drive to schools to teacher, this kills us because without a car it is almost impossible to get our required observing hours accomplished.

If the goal is to reduce the number of cars on campus, the Transportation Committee should think about incentivizing the program rather than punishing students who genuinely need to have a car on campus.

I can't afford to pay for this parking pass, but I don't think these people understand how hard it is to go to Transy without a car.
