This university is already making it hard to afford an education here for families that are not as financially stable as others. This would only make things worse.

One of the added benefits of being a Transy student is being able to have a car on campus for a comparatively lower price. Don't raise the price drastically!

Why pay more for something we already have so little of?

Considering the price of tuition, room, and board, it seems rather ridiculous to expect us to pay so much for something like a parking pass. Furthermore, $35 to $75-150 is quite a price difference.

I understand the rationale behind raising the parking pass prices, but it is, quite frankly, ridiculous to ask a student body who already pays and sacrifices so much for a Transylvania education to increase their out-of-pocket costs even more for parking that is not guaranteed to every student who buys a parking pass. It is completely disrespectful on the part of administration and only reflects how disengaged they are with students and our needs.

Transylvania is already an expensive institution even excluding college expenses not included in tuition such as travel and laundering costs. I would also like to add that the current physical state of campus due to construction, particularly back circle, is not only depressing and not at all ideal for enjoying outdoor activities in but also hinders the majority of the parking spaces making an already limited parking area far more constricted. Personally I feel that a 200% increase in parking cost is absurd given the current parking circumstances and financial expectancy that we, the student body, already meet.

I pay over $49,000 a year to go here, so there is no reason for me to pay this much to attend classes.

The increase is absolutely ridiculous, particularly considering how horrible the current parking situation at our school. This is the most idiotic proposal.

Nope. Parking is already limited like crazy and I won't pay for parking that isn't convenient.

Parking is already so limited on campus. Why would you have us pay for parking that is nonexistant?
