Parking in n.a.g

We live in an age where many households have three or four cars because the children can't afford to leave this takes up all the visitor spaces

We pay Neighbourhood Fees & Village Association Fees, As I understand it a percentage of these fees are to pay for Landscape maintenances, I am unemployed and struggle to pay these fees some times, It really annoys me when I see Moron drivers park on the grass verges churning them up, A large thank you to the drivers that waste my money by doing this,

I've lived in the village over thirty years and have seen the parking problem, which was once not a problem at all, get increasingly worse in many of the neighbourhoods. A particular issue is the parking of commercial vans. Village Association rules state that they're not supposed to be parked in the neighbourhoods, but the VA never enforces this.

When NAG was created there were not as many car users. Nowadays, for work, school, shopping etc car usage and car numbers have increased - public transport is not always suitable for particular journeys. The number of cars in a household has increased for various reasons. Whilst I totally believe in green space, there are some obvious places around the village that could be used for the purpose of additional car parking bays without chopping down trees.

Parking is now inadequate and needs addressing.

More parking and better lighting in garage blocks desperately needed.

I live in penenden and trying to find a parking space is terrible. They should have allocated parking for the residents

I park in front of my garage as it's been broken into constantly and nothing is done.

Some drivers think they own all he roads

Penenden is an absolute nitemare.Dare I park off my drive my car has been scratched or paint thrown on it.Residents have earmarked their spot and God help anybody who has the audacity to claim a space as particular persons take it upon themselves to stick notes on vehicles to move for their own purposes then try and shame in residents newsletters or leaflets through our doors.

Penenden is a nightmare oo

Chapel Wood & Millfield parking is getting worse. Not enough spaces for the cars, tonight there was 2 free spaces that I couldn't squeeze in to!!!

There's plenty of new spaces to be made and would still Leave plenty of greenery! It's just madness and something needs to be done!

My neighbours are constantly complaining at me and my boyfriend for parking on the roundabout and when he brings his truck home people are taking pictures and rudely telling us to move it when they own the worlds longest van (which is bigger than his truck) that is parked on the exit of the roundabout obstructing even more space than us. We need more parking spaces because this is pathetic

Although the top car park in Knights croft had more spaces created, they have done it so u have to park length ways, only creating 2 spaces. If u could drive into the space, u would get at least 5.

Less camper vans and lorries please!
