I can’t agree more that I feel this to be a violation of my lease. Please refrain from charging us for parking. If, as the management’s letter cites, there have been problems with people faking loss of parking passes etc, then the burden should be on those who lose their items, not all tenants. Also, there are ways to regulate parking more strictly at little to no additional cost to management. Management should pursue those options first before charging residents.

4857 Battery Lane. Also, I had mentioned this earlier but my boyfriend and I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and each have a car to get to work with our different schedules but because of this apartments ridiculous rules, we are only allowed one car here even though this lot is not that full. Now they are allowing NONRESIDENTS or ‘guests’ to park here on a first come first serve l basis if they sign up online. This rule is absolutely absurd given that I AM A PAYING RESIDENT! I would love to park in my own apartment parking lot for a chance…
