Dear Home Owners, 06-02-2013 I am submitting a petition to each of you concerning our covenants. I realize the covenants are in place to protect the living environment and preserve the values of our properties. I concur that is what we all agree on. However, since we are zoned Agriculture Rural and each of us have more than an acre of land I would like to propose that the declaration of protective covenants be changed to include livestock to a minimum. A horse, chicken, donkey or similar, and no more than 3 per lot. Providing that any animal shall not be kept, bred, or maintained for any commercial purpose. Up and down Red Canyon Rd these animals are allowed except in this subdivision. Even the city proper allows for these animals with properties that have enough land to warrant them. I think you will find that since we are in the county and do have acreage, this will only give your property more value. Prospective buyers that look out here are doing so for the purpose of being able to have this option. You may not be considering selling your property now, but, someday you may and this is a factor in doing just that. I have submitted this proposal to Joe Stock, and waiting on his response. The Covenants state that if a majority of the owners agree to the change, said covenants can be recorded as such.
