No way do we need more apartment complex's in Groton. Already more than enough in the Rt 12 corridor. Perfect for open space.

I sincerely hope the town planners are not blinded by the promise of town taxes and local business increases by the snake oil salesmen from afar. I realize the backers of this project have spent millions on buying property's and surveyors , architects ,designers and so forth, along with all kinds of sweet words that say this is being considered to work within the surrounding community and greatly fulfill the need for the young people who will be filling all the needed positions at E.B and subsidiary companies. And be able to live in a community all of there own. I agree a public referendum should be held and not let a few in Groton Town Planning and zoning officials decide for us that live in the adjoining area of the Mystic Oral School.

A park would be a much better use of space. Not everything needs to be built up to be of value. Parks have been invaluable during the pandemic and certainly are an asset to the town and surrounding communities.

I believe the community should have a say here. Wilcox Park is central in my family’s life, and that’s in another state! I live in Old Mystic and am tired of all the destruction to our land and wildlife. A park would be working with our environment, not against it.

Do not waste this hidden gem on unnecessary development. Please save our Mystical spaces.

Community pool is needed. Auditorium already there would be valuable for community arts rehearsal space. Park with walking trails. The community should definitely have more input.

I am not comfortable with the burden on our infrastructure and the development of more wooded areas - especially so close to a waterway.

I would be in favor of a town referendum.

Can the Fire district take a stand ( a vote) against this? The town of Groton has to give up the idea that every parcel they own must be turned over to a developer. This should remain open space.

I support this idea of a park 100%.

Their estimate, 1700 automobiles entering and exiting by two narrow roads, a traffic and ecological disaster for the already overwhelmed community of Mystic.

This sounds like a good idea for ALL the residents of Mystic.
