Deefintely need this in middle school. Even when students can tryout in 7th grade, most will not make it if they have neever played. Also, transportation for practices and games becomes an issue.

Since Houston County doesn't gave an active Parks & Recreation Program, we need this more than ever. Exposure to a wider veriety of sports is ideal in the Middle School years.

Perfect! My oldest daughter is going into high school in the fall and is dying to try out for volleyball, it should definately be available earlier!

This would be a wonderful opportunity for our middle schoolers. As a mother of a graduating senior HOCO volleyball player I wish she could have started to play in middle school. I have two other daughters one 10 and 7 and if given the opportunity want to desperately play middle school volleyball. Please allow our young girls the opportunity to be competetive at an earlier age for more opportunities for schlorship a later.

I believe opening this opportunity to younger girls will allow them the opportunities to be competative in the high school and college years. I wish my daughter had been given the opportunity to start at a younger age.

I think this would be great.mas a mother of a Bonaire middle schooler and a mom of a daughter who started volleyball in the 4th grade in OH i think this would be awesome and my middle schooler would definitely chose to play

Many other states start volleyball in 5th and 6th grade. Our students are way behind in various levels starting volleyball at the high school level. Very unfortunate for our students!

Most middle schools got the facilities fir this excuting sport, please consider this as another venue to keep students healthy and focus on positive things!
