Since when does what our kids wear to school affect their education?? And if a student participates at the vo-tech why dress code them for wearing the tech tshirt? Sounds like bullying to me in a "no bullying" school district!

Seriously though who does my hair affect but me? Who's distracted by a tiny chunk of gold in my nose or purple tips on my hair? And for the love of God why can't I wear a hoodie?

I find it pretty stupid that we get dress coded for logos and having 5+ buttons on a polo. Like at least we are still wearing the stupid clothes?

This would be very helpful and let's wear a lot of clothes that have logos. Who cares people do it anyways so why not just let it go

These kids have rights to their own Individuality, and Shamokin School District is taking all that away. I paid 70 on my daughter hair. If it was such a big deal she shoukd have been coded the first week not the 3rd week. Uniform should be Polos and uniform pants. Thats it! Hair color, pockets, logos, shoe laces all that is non sence! And honestly its now the adults, teachers doing the bullying. Picking and choosing who should be coded. It has become nothing but stress and more of and headache then anything! These kids need to be able to express themselves. Dress down days should be just that. But now its strictly purple or white polos or plain tees with uniform pants. Ridiculous Anymore!!!

Nobody gets bullied because of their clothes at our school, and even if they did then they should've done something about it one way or another.
