This is absolutely pathetic, a perfect example of a greedy corporation, the reason i disagree with this so much is the price and how the students had no say. This change will heavily change the students and will force poor parents to buy an unnecessary uniform what only has a logo change.

what is the point? Students should be able to choose what they wear. like Michael said, it's communism

The trousers are twice as expensive as m and s ones. This is just a moneymaking scheme on behalf of the suppliers.

Whilst I appreciate all parents have their own opinion on this, not all of us are in the same position financially. Paying £17 for one skirt, when I could get 3/4 good quality skirts for the same amount is upsetting and let's be honest, we are going to have to buy more than one for a child as managing to wash each night is not realistic, so when you say it's just one pair it's not really is it?! I'm glad the uniform fits your child perfectly. Children come in all shapes and sizes and unfortunately a few parents have found the supplier do not stock the sizes needed for theirs.

This head teacher isn’t giving students an opinion I think she expects everyone to like what she likes

Went last night and bought uniform. Trousers and skirts both good quality and fit ok. Ok price bit more expensive but they'll wash well so buy more if i need when I need. Move on people - my child fine with it as are most kids. It's only a pair of Trousers, more important things going on stop getting hung up on the small stuff.

I fail to see any benefit in this change. Enforcing the perfectly acceptable standards / dress code that was already in place is all that is required. This change is significantly, and very swiftly, undermining the goodwill that has been built up over many years between pupils, parents and staff.

I bought my daughter 2 pairs of really good quality m&s ladies straight leg/slim bootcut trousers 2 yrs ago. They were expensive but she loves them, they are really easy to look after and they met the guidelines. She suffers from eczema occasionally and has sensitive skin. I will buy 1 pair and see how she goes. If there is a problem I will have to have a serious meeting with the school. Alternatively, just sew on the patches!
