I firmly believe that the idea of dictating to us is ridiculous, as for emblem, why not let us buy our trousers and skirts where ever is good for our child, and see an emblem on!? Problem solved. It's way too costly, and for single parents it a nightmare! We should not be made to feel inadequate, I'm a working mum, but money goes nowhere.

As I raised in my communication to the school, there is only one choice of skirt available for girls, and one style does not fit all. There is not a selection of materials to chose from, so any child that suffers from irritation from certain materials maybe affected. The school do not have contingency plan in place for this. The price of purchasing uniform has more than doubled, but the school continue to describe the change to the uniform as a slight amendment. My daughter will be starting in September and the cost of purchasing the required uniform is a huge concern for me.

Uniform is expensive enough without paying out for emblem trousers or skirts!! Glad my kids have all left totally ridiculous what you have to pay out for this school. Too much emphasis on uniform and not on learning!!!

The cost of the new uniform is crazy i got one pair that are suitable in asda for £6 which got ruined by chewing gum at school.. im not paying £15.50 for one pair. The skirts are not long enough length for taller girls either. if the logo is such a issue let us sew them on and choose where to shop not dictatorship
