My son is due to start yr 11. I think this is going to be a waist of money considering how many months he'll actually be in school for his last year. My daughter leaves soon so at least it's just the one uniform to pay for.

This uniform change is unnecessary. It forces me into a position of being made to buy additional costly items, and not be able to shop at supermarkets or high street retailers for equally acceptable uniform at a more affordable price. It seems that the school is happy to allow me to feel embarrassment and distress if I have to ask the school for help with uniform - I think this is an unacceptable situation.

The current uniform is more than adequate. This new introduction is a mindless needless expense and the reasons behind it do not carry any weight.

The school is disregarding three out of five strong recommendations from the Department of Education on the subject of uniform.

As an ex Stokesley school student I can’t believe you are thinking of changing the school uniform yet again, you must think all parents are made of money because you won’t allow parents to shop around for the cheaper option because you’ll want them to be bought from the uniform supplier which is a total rip off and it’s more expensive if there is another child to buy for. It’s ridiculous.

Don’t specifically like the look and don’t wish to spend extra money on top of it

Not happy about these changes at all. They force non essential changes to the uniform that force parents to become financially embarrassed. They do not take into account the different shapes of children and remove choice from parents. The uniforms are not value for money!

It’s pointless to need the emblem on trousers or a skirt.... it’s already present on the blazer that you have to purchase so why on the bottoms aswell? The school is in Stokesley, the emblem doesn’t even have anything to do with Stokesley. Keep the uniform as it is.... it’s expensive enough as it is.

Total lack of parental consultation and disregard for personal financial circumstances. The quality is poor like the rest of the bespoke pieces and completely needless. 100% against these changes.
