this is a terrible calendar for those who have children in competitive sports...as their summer training will NOT goto the modified calendar and they will be behind
I see no academic benefit.
thanks Shawn if you can come to the dec 2 meeting to support your concerns that would be great. if we don't have enough people show up the modified calendar will get pushed through.

Please do not think that signing this petition will be all it takes. Parent presence MUST be felt by all levels of administration at the meeting on Dec 2nd. They are stacking the meeting with Principals and parents of schools PRO Modified Calendar. Bring your spouse. Lousy location for date night, but, if parents will not be a voice for their kids now, what will schools try to push next time?
