This petition is for all parents in Leeds against the new packed lunch policy.

Why are pupils who choose to eat packed lunches discriminated against? A child that has school dinners is allowed to eat things like pizza, chips and curries and they are also allowed a desert which consists of a sugary treat such as a chocolate cookie, chocolate cake, apple pie and custard.

We are the childrens parents, we are adults and we are quite capable of preparing a packed lunch we know our children will eat. Why can't packed lunch children have the same kind of treat for desert? Will the odd packet of crisps kill them? How are they supposed to learn about moderation?
