The undersigned hereby support the parental and individual rights of parents to opt their children out of standardized testing.
Whereas, North Forsyth Middle School in Cumming, Georgia, has forced Justin Wheeler, a special needs student, to take standardized tests against his mother’s clear and repeated instructions;
Whereas, Tracy and Mary Finney were met by police at West Side Elementary in Marietta, Georgia, when they elected to opt their children out of state standardized testing.
Therefore we, the undersigned petition to protect parental rights in education.

Common Core is politically motivated and is NOT in the best interest of our children and future generations.
My daughters will not be taking the Nationalist testing, as my daughters are individuals, and not a part of a collective!
My son is not a data point for the state to collect. Keep your hands off my kid.
This is totally outrageous. The school has no business calling the police on parents who just want what is best for their own children. Stop the bullying.
The stress these exams put on these kids is just sickening. They are just babies being forced to sit for hours and fill in bubbles for money and politics. ENOUGH.

As a homeschool mom, these tests have nothing to do with how or what I teach my kids and I don't agree with comparing my children and their knowledge to someone else's standards or lack of standards.
