Gardasil is dangerous and has NOT been proven to be either safe or effective. But the most important factor is that the government has NO right to mandate vaccines or any medical treatment. It’s a huge overreach and will be the beginning of a very dangerous and slippery slope.

I wrote to my representatives that I am NOT in support of this legislation until more research is presented.

My children are the ones who have adverse reactions to vaccines and therefore this is one I will it be adding under any circumstances. That is my right and nobody else’s. Please keep it that way!

The government should not be making parental decisions on my behalf.

Although I have chosen to vaccinate my children for most things, this is one vaccination I am currently choosing not to do. Two of my children are now adults and are making an educated decision for themselves, which is their right. I believe it is the parents job to take care of their children until they are adults and can make their own decisions. It is not the governments.

No one (including the government) has the right to force a vaccine on anyone whose lifestyle does not necessitate that vaccine.

We are not supposed to be a police state but a free country

I urge you not to support SB 356 and HB 245. Allow us as parents to decide what is best for our children and the HPV vaccine. If you agree to this legislation you are agreeing the rights of parents being taken away!

Where there is risk, and possibility for any injury, there needs to be parental choice.

Parents are best suited to make decisions regarding the health and well being of their own children. SB 356 and HB 245 should be stopped.

Parents are not forced to vaccinate their children against standard vaccines from birth. Why should we be forced to give our children this vaccine? I was a parent who CHOSE to vaccinate my children to prevent polio, measles, small pox, etc. However, I do not want to be FORCED to vaccinate my children against anything. It is against my fundamental right as their legal guardian.

This should not be mandatory by any means. There is so much evidence pointing towards this being horrible for girls.
