Work as an independent, don't show lots of income, petition for modification and lower the support, don't neglect your child a.you will regret it missing out on them. Don't give your ex any leverage and fight back in courts. If you can't afford you can file and defend yourself.. don't give up and continue the fight. Til then you will have father's driven from thier children's. Remember they have monetized everything and it is against you.. prepare, work a little smarter and harder and you will win. I was put on childsuppot because I no longer wanted to be in the relationship. She text me and I have the text still in my phone that she was getting me locked up and pushing these papers on me heavy. I was in church preaching a revival and she brought the police to the church and I was arrested at the church, in front of the congregation and my wife and son.

Child Support is not in the best interest of the child but the mother. Joint custody is never an option because the mothe wants that check.

Our system is obviously biased towards women being granted everything they ask for. Fathers seem to have no rights in any child support matter. It is unconstitutional that a fair trial is not granted to most of these men, I would like to add that mandatory paternity testing should be done at birth unless a parent does not agree to said testing. I hope you get all of the signatures you need and wish you well in this en devour.

I really think that the child support laws in America should be looked over and revised,it has been several times with myself that I had worked and was paid bi_ weekly 80+ hours,I would never be excited to open my paycheck ,most of the time I was left with $10.00 leftover to pay for my own bills and food and transportation ..I ended up being homeless and hungry and cold..I don't think it's very fair at all, please consider revising this harsh law for just being a father and dad,,thanks for your time in this matter

I am sorry to hear that man. The system was created for needy families but is being used to cripple co-parenting relationships and benefit the IRS, Court house employees, banks, and a majority of time, mother's. I suggest you do some research on "Title 4-D" organizations in which is what the child support enforcement agency is. There have been multiple supreme court decisions in which it was decided and stated in which contradicts what courts are doing. Thank you for signing and commenting man. I like this idea. I lost custody to an unemployed woman who had a final monthly expense sheet of -$800. If she is negative how does she support them? If she can't prove this how can a court give her custody? They have lived with her for 6 years in absolute poverty yet still gets my money and has 2 more children whom she can't get a dime for them from their father. The system is broken. It needs fixed. Modernize it now!
