Parents have the right to make health decisions about their children. If it makes someone feel safer to wear a mask that is useless in preventing viral spread, by all means, wear one. But do not force those who know better to. There are literally dozens of peer reviewed studies demonstrating the ineffectiveness of masks, other than n95, in the prevention of viral transmission. Look them up. Not to mention the many other studies that bring to light the numerous detrimental side effects to one’s health by wearing a mask all day. These include much higher amounts of CO2 being breathed than OSHA would permit in your workplace, bacterial infections, and acne. In short, mask wearing is healthcare theater to placate the scared.

We are just requesting the option to wear masks.. those who feel they want their children in masks can and those who do not feel it’s necessary can have the choice to not!

Masks equate to child abuse. The forcing of masks will have psychological effects

No masks - they are proven not to be effective. Look at Pelosis fundraiser, Schumer’s event, Obama’s MV Bash, the list goes on and on - it’s a sham !!!

No mask mandates. This is a parental right to choose what’s best for their child.

It has been proven that masks are very harmful to children. They need to breath oxygen not carbon dioxide.

What is the point of paying for Catholic school if their is no differentiation from Public? This is greatest opportunity for private schools to thrive and be revived with enrollment as we don’t need to kneel to teacher unions like public schools. Wake up or this petition will be on your front lawn, and in your living room, just as your decisions effect our families.

There is no scientific data that suggests these masks protect our children. Let them Breathe, let them smile, let them see each other’s faces!!!!

The minute a mask comes off to eat or drink the mask becomes completely pointless. Unless every child had an N-95 mask on with hazmat gear that never is removed the risk is already there. If children will be socially distanced 3 feet away I think this is overkill. Children in a classroom are together for 10 months. It becomes a second family. You need to have a little faith in parents of these children to do the right thing. There is a school nurse monitoring health records. You have teachers assessing students as well to see who might have traveled and who looks not well. I feel the classroom is actually safer than taking my daughter to a restaurant. I’d rather know she is sitting with the same children daily than strangers whose health and whereabouts I have no idea about. I also believe in young children especially it is detrimental to their ability to focus on the curriculum especially with reading. I feel just as bad for the teacher trying to help children sound out words in a mask. Children need to be able to have a normal social setting for learning. We want children to thrive and want to get an education. Pretty soon if school continues to be run like a jail you will have students who just don’t want to be there anymore. I don’t think that is what we want as a society. We want the next generation to be excited about school and succeed. So this is about way more than just a mask at the end of the day.
