If the Soldiers are being punished for protesting inadequate arms and ammunition and the political class who embezzled the money meant for the procurement have started confessing, then the logical thing to do is to pardon and rehabilate the soldiers and punish the embezzlers in return.

Without mincing words, I will not hesitate saying that it was wrong to send these soldiers to confront their enemies without arms and ammunition. From recent developments we have been told how the meant for the purchase of weaponry ended up in private pockets. Though it is still allegations but there are facts to nailed the accused as we are being told in social media as well as the hard & electronic media saddled with the dissemination of news. Again I am total support for the state pardon as being proposed for the soldiers. I suggest that the soldiers should be formally retired and restrained in other trade that will enable fend for themselves in the remaining days of their lives.
